VERONICA ZEHR YANCEY

Veronica Zehr Yancey, 73, passed away in Sarasota, Fla. Memorial Hospital of a heart attack on Jan. 8, 1966.

She was born June 8, 1892 in Croghan, N. Y., daughter of A. B. and Mary (Moser) Zehr. She lived in Lewis County, New York most of her life except for spending winters in Sarasota for the past 20 years.

She is survived by her husband, Chris E. Yancey; two daughters and two sons, Mrs. Russell (Arletha) Knechtel of Myakka City, Fla. Mrs. Clarence (Beulah) Widrick of Lowville, N. Y., Clyde Yancey and Lester Yancey, both of Myakka City, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. Edward (Rose) Yancey of New Bremen, N. Y.; one brother, Aaron Zehr, Lowville, N. Y.; 24 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was a member of the Dadville [Danville?] Conservative Mennonite Church, New York.

Funeral services were held in Palm Grove Mennonite Church at Sarasota, Fla. and interment was made in the Palm Memorial Park at Sarasota.
