LILLIAN ANN WYSE

Lillian Ann Wyse, daughter of Harmon and Emma (Tucker) Weaver, was born south of Coppock, Iowa. She died at Memorial Hospital, Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, on Feb. 6, 1967, following a two-day illness, age 75 years, nine months and 26 days.

Lillian's entire life was fruitfully lived in the Wayland, Iowa community. She received her education at the Cottonwood rural school two miles west of Wayland. at an early age she joined the Christian Church of Coppock.

She was united in marriage to Arthur J. Wyse on Nov. 27, 1919, in their present home, which was then the Mennonite parsonage. At that time she transferred her membership to the Wayland Mennonite Church, where she remained a faithful steward till the time of her death.

Precious memories of a devoted wife, mother and grandmother remain with those bereaved; her life companion, Arthur; a son Roger W. of Bloomfield, a daughter, Betty Ruth Farrier of Brighton and their families including 11 grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters, Estella Thurman and Ellie Brooks, both of Wayland, Grace Davison of Detroit, Mich.; and one brother, George Weaver of Kirkwood, Ill.

Funeral services were held at the Wayland Mennonite Church on Feb. 8, with Walter Neufeld in charge. Final resting place is in the North Hill Cemetery.
