Accidents Claim Two Lives in Ohio Area
SERVICES AT ARCHBOLD FOR MARTIN KRIEGER AND STEPHEN JOE WYSE
Archbold, Ohio. — Two separate highway accidents occurring on Friday evening, Sept.20, claimed the lives of a 12-year-old lad and a 22-year-old young man, both of this area.
Stephen Joe Wyse, 12, son of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Wyse of the Fayette community, was killed when the tractor driven by his brother Ronald was struck from the rear by a car near the Wyse turkey farm. The youths were hauling turkey feed. Robert and Virginia Lavman, occupants of the car, and Ronald received minor injuries.
Funeral services for the Wyse youth were held at the Lockport Mennonite Church near here.
Martin Krieger, 22, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Krieger of Route 1, Stryker, died when the car he was driving crashed into the side of a truck at the intersection of Ohio 15 and U. S. 20 near Pioneer. His companion and the truck driver were injured.
Funeral services were held at the Lauber Hill Reformed Mennonite Church.
