JAMES WYSE

James “Jim" Wyse of Wayland, Iowa, died Nov. 25, 2000, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa.

He was born Dec. 29, 1929, the son of Noah and Minnie (Black) Wyse, in Mount Pleasant. On Feb. 20, 1955, he married Roberta Shaffer at Wayland Mennonite Church. Jim served his country in the Korean War. He farmed most of his life until his retirement. He was a member of Eicher Emmanuel Mennonite Church and the Wayland Christmas Committee.

Survivors include his wife, Roberta; a daughter, Kendra Wyse of Wayland; and a sister, Barbara Wyse of Wayland.

Services were held at Eicher Emmanuel Mennonite Church. Burial was in the Center Cemetery east of Wayland.
