ERLINE FAY WYATT

Erline Fay, daughter of Earl and Pauline (Widmer) Wyatt, was born in Silverton, Oregon on May 30, 1949; died at her home near Tangent, Oregon on June 27, 1963, aged 14 years and 38 days.

Two years ago her left leg was amputated because of estrogenic sarcoma (bone cancer). In November 1962 it was found that the malignancy was in her left lung. She was aware of the seriousness of her condition. She had a real zest for living, and yet had a wonderful attitude of resignation through it all. She became a member of the Albany Mennonite Church at the age of 10 after accepting Christ at Junior Camp during meetings held there by John Lederach.

Surviving besides her parents are two sisters, Marcine 10, and Miriam 2, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services were held at the Albany Mennonite Church on June 29, in charge of James Horsch and John Lederach. Interment was made in Fairview Mennonite Church Cemetery.
