MRS. ELIZABETH WORMS, 78

Mrs. Elizabeth Worms, 78, of Winkler was born in South Russia and came to Canada with her parents in 1888. They settled in the Burwalde District and she spent most of her life in and around Winkler. In 1906 she was married to Jacob Elias, from which union 2 sons were born. Her husband died in 1912. In 1920 she married John Worms, who had 4 sons from a previous marriage. Four more sons were born from this second union. Mr. Worms died in 1956. Mrs. Worms spent the last years of her life in the Salem Home for the Aged and died after a month's illness on March 25.

Mourning her passing are 10 sons and their wives, 31 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held in the Winkler M.B. Church with Rev. Lenzmann and Rev. H. P. Harder officiating.
