WILLIAM W. WINSKY

William W. Winsky was born Oct.10, 1910, at Alsen, N. D. Death came very suddenly Sept. 14, 1965 as the result of a heart attack.

Mr. Winsky grew to manhood in North Dakota and there attended the state's school for the blind at Bathgate. In 1935 he moved with his parental family to Couer d'Alene, Idaho. He married Vonda Ragsdale on Aug. 10, 1956, at Idaho Falls, Idaho. The couple lived in Twin Falls, Idaho, until moving to Boise in 1962.

He was a member of the Faith Memorial Church, Filer, and he also belonged to the Piano Technicians Guild, being a piano tuner by trade. He was baptized as a youth by Rev. Edward Dirkson at Alsen (N. D.) Swiss Mennonite Church. Although because of his eye condition, reading was difficult for him he was a diligent Bible reader and had portions of it committed to memory. On his way to work on Sept. 14, he suddenly became ill and was able to get to the home of a dear Christian friend who witnessed that death came soon and peacefully.

Survivors include his widow, Vonda, two daughters, Marianne and Donna, and a son, August, of the home in Boise, Idaho; three sisters, Mrs. Walter Gering, Ritzville, Wash., Mrs. Ella Willis, Richland, Wash., and Mrs. Claudia Norlin, Couer d'Alene, Idaho.

Funeral services were in charge of Rev. Frank Horst, Filer, Ida., and Rev. Dale Field, Boise. Interment was at Dry Creek Cemetery west of Boise.
