Mother of Goshen Professor Dies

Goshen, Ind. — Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie A. Winey, 79, mother of Miss Lois Winey of the Goshen College faculty, were held July 27 at the Yoder-Culp Funeral home here. She died at the home on July 24 after an illness of several years.

A native of Garden City, Mo., Mrs. Winey was the widow of Samuel G. Winey, who died in 1960. They lived at Colorado Springs, Colo. for a number of years before moving to Goshen in 1942. Mr. Winey served on the college staff here for some yeas before his death.
