Lloyd S. Winey, 56, of Lancaster, Pa., died Wednesday, Aug. 19, in the General Hospital there after an illness of one year.

Born in Juniata county, Pa., a son of the late Ammon U. and Ella V. Shelly Winey, he had resided in Lancaster since 1913 and was a farmer. He was a member of Mellinger's Mennonite Church, and was a member of the George R. Brunk evangelistic team.

Surviving are his wife, Miriam E. Shreiner Winey; five sisters, Mrs. Mabel W. Clymer of R. 4, Lancaster, Mary W., wife of Eli Eby of Gordonville, Sarah R., wife of J. Ernest Mast of Rothsville, Miss Esther P. Winey of R. 1, Ronks, and Dora E., wife of Elvin W. Landis of Lancaster; and a brother, John E. Winey, Strasburg, Pa.

Funeral services were held Sunday, Aug. 23, in the Mellinger's Mennonite Church with Paul Landis, Harry LeFever and Nelson Landis officiating. Interment was in Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery, Lancaster, Pa.

LLOYD S. WINEY

Lloyd S. Winey, 56, of Lancaster, Pa., died Wednesday, Aug. 19, in the General Hospital there after an illness of one year.

Born in Juniata county, Pa., a son of the late Ammon U. and Ella V. Shelly Winey, he had resided in Lancaster since 1913 and was a farmer. He was a member of Mellinger's Mennonite Church, and was a member of the George R. Brunk evangelistic team.
