HENRY P. WILLMS

Henry P. Willms, 35, of Leaming1xm, Ont. died in the Toronto General Hospital on October 31 after a lengthy illness. The immediate cause of death was a heart failure. He was born on January 29, 1932 in Fairholme, Sask., the third son of Peter and Elizabeth Willms. He had lived in the Leamington area for the past 31 years.

On July 13, 1957 he was married to Elsie Unger, a marriage that was blessed with five children, one of whom predeceased their father. His faith in God was evident in his daily life, enabling him to face the burden of ill health. On August 20, 1967 Henry gave expression of this faith when he was baptized and accepted into the Mennonite Brethren Church at Leamington.

He went home to be with the Saviour whom he loved and served on October 31. His family cherishes, and are grateful for, the wonderful memories that are theirs, especially of the summer months following his heart surgery when his improved health enabled him to enjoy his family in a new way.

The funeral was in the Leamington Church on November 2 with Rev. Abe J. Konrad in charge. Henry is survived by his wife, Elsie; children Steven, Lucy, Lori and Nancy, at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Willms of Leamington; four brothers, Peter of Japan, George of Ruthven, Ont., Walter of Ottawa, and Jack of Vineland, Ont.; and one sister, Alice (Mrs. Frank Toews) of Stratford, Ont. Although we cannot understand his sudden departure, we know that God's ways are best.
