Death Claims Official Of Osteopathic Assn.

Inman, Kan. — Relatives here received word that Dr. M. B. Willems, 57, osteopathic physician and surgeon of Neodesha, died Sept. 3 at an Independence, Mo. Hospital after a 10-day illness.

A native of this community, Dr. Willems was a member of the American Osteopathic Assn. and served on the executive committee of the Kansas Osteopathic Assn. His first marriage was to Lena Block of Henderson, Neb., and she died in 1959. In 1961 he married Fern Motley of Carthage, Mo.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Independence, Kan. The funeral was conducted Saturday afternoon at the Methodist church in Neodesha.

One son, one daughter, nine sisters and four brothers survive.
