• J. E. Wiens, 73, of Hillsboro died Nov. 24 at the VA Hospital in Wichita. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at the First Mennonite Church of Hillsboro, with Rev. Elbert Koontz in charge. Mr. Wiens was the father of Jacob Wiens and Mrs. Wallace (Gertrude) Krebs and brother of Mrs. Pete Nachtigal, all of Newton.
