FORMER EDITOR OF GERMAN WEEKLY DIES IN CALIFORNIA
Reedley, Calif. — Funeral services were conducted at a Fresno funeral home on Oct. 16 for C. B. Wiens, 92, who served as editor of ”Die Mennonitische Rundschau” during the time it was published at Scottdale, Pa.
A native of Russia where he taught school, Mr. Wiens came to Reedley in 1920 after serving in the editorship at Scottdale for 10 years. Since about 1940 the family had lived at Fresno.
