MISS MARY WIENS

Mary Wiens of Kitchener, Ont., was born in Rueckenau, Russia, on Jan. 26, 1909. The family emigrated to Canada in 1924.

At an early age Mary accepted Christ as her personal Saviour and upon confession of her faith was baptized and accepted into the Port Rowan Mennonite Brethren church.

After the death of her parents, she lived with an aunt in B.C. For the last ten or more years she had lived in Kitchener.

She suffered a lengthy illness until the Lord called her to Himself on Oct. 30.

Mourning her death are two brothers, Jake and Peter and their wives; 6 nephews; 3 nieces; uncles and aunts as well as many friends, some of whom remember Miss Wiens as their first Sunday School teacher.

Funeral services were conducted in the Port Rowan church with the brethren I. Tiessen, W. Baerg and P. Reimer ministering.
