text of obituary:

MRS. MARGARET WIENS

Margaret Wiens nee Willms was born on September 11th, 1889, in the village of Tiege, South Russia. There she spent the first 21 years of her life. From there she moved with her parents to Burnaschk, in the Crimea and it was there also that she was united in holy matrimony on August 31, 1912. Fifty-three years and 8 months she was permitted to share bright and cloudy days with her husband, John Wiens, always finding the grace of God to be sufficient.

In the year 1925 they emigrated to Canada and established their home on a farm at Osborne, Manitoba. In the Osborne (now Domain Mennonite Brethren Church) was found spiritual fellowship and ample opportunity to work. In 1959 they moved to Winnpeg and joined the Elmwood Mennonite Brethren Church.

Mrs. Wiens enjoyed relatively good health until 1958, when she suffered a stroke, but her health was restored so that she could do her housework with minor difficulties.

On April 5, 1966, she suffered a heart attack and shortly after 8 p.m. was transferred to her heavenly home, where she now sees him whom she already knew here as her Saviour and Lord.

She leaves to mourn her too early passing, her husband, 5 sons, 1 daughter, 3 daughters-in-law, 15 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, one brother and two sisters. One grandchild and one great-grandchild have preceded her in death.
