FRANK PETER WIENS, 87

Frank Peter Wiens, 87, of Virgil, Ont., died of old age and a slight heart attack. Funeral services were held on December 11 in the Virgil M.B. Church, with Rev. John G. Baerg officiating. Br. Wiens was born in Kleefeld, South Russia, was baptized at the age of 30. He was married to Katharine Dyck and they moved to Canada in 1925, spending many years in Manitoba in farming. In 1950 they moved to Virgil and celebrated their golden wedding anniversary there in 1957. He was predeceased by his wife in 1959. Surviving are 3 daughters and 1 son.
