MRS. ANNA WIENS

Mrs. Anna Wiens, daughter of Jacob and Maria Jantzen, nee Fast, was born July 9, 1860, at Nogathau, Germany. She attended school at Clementfahr.

She was baptized upon the confession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Saviour and united with the Mennonite Church in her youth.

She was united in marriage to Peter Wiens on January 24, 1883, at Ohra, Germany and they came to America (Nebraska) in September 1886. To this union was born 12 children of whom one daughter preceded her in death in infancy.

Surviving her are 11 children, eight sons, three daughters; six daughters-in-law, two sons-in-law, 24 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Agatha Claassen, and many relatives and friends.
