ABRAM A. WIENS
Albram A. Wiens was born October 11, 1887, in Woldenfuerst, Kuban, South Russia, a son Abram Wiens. Here he grew up, received his education and made his early livelihood. In 1909 he was married to Maria Heinrichs. The Lord blessed them with eight children, five sons and three daughters.
In 1925 they came to Canada and settled in Winnipeg; later he took up farming in Manitoba. A few years later, in 1930, his wife passed away and for three years he cared for his large family alone. In 1933 he found another helpmeet in Maria Schellenberg, who shared his life until his death.
In 1947 the family moved to Aldergrove, B.C., and in 1960 when his health deteriorated, to Clearbrook. He passed away on September 8 leaving with those who sorrow his passing the dear witness that he was gloing to be with his Saviour. His wife followed him in death on September 16.
