TEEN-AGE GIRL KILLED, TWO COMPANIONS HURT IN MANITOBA ACCIDENT

Altona, Man. — After being unconscious for four days following a car accident near Gretna, 16-year-old Irene Wiebe of that community died in the Altona hospital Thursday evening, Sept. 9. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Wiebe.

Also brought unconscious to the hospital here were Verna Buhr, daughter of Rev. and Mrs. W. S. Buhr, and Richard Weisz, 14, who had a fractured skull. Alfred Weisz, 15, was only shaken up. The young people were on a Sunday ride in the Buhr car, a small German model, when it left the road and crashed into a pole.
