&bull; Mrs. Ida Wiebe, 93, a native of Russia and a resident of the Buhler community for 74 years, died Sept. 27 at a Hutchinson hospital. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Buhler Mortuary Chapel. Mrs. Wiebe was born in South Russia in 1880 and came to Buhler in 1900. Her husband, John Wiebe, died in 1937. Surviving are two sons, Dick of Newton, and Arnold of Lawrence: five daughters, Mrs. J. T. Harder of Meade, Mrs. Suzanna Baker of Oregon City, Ore., Mrs. Ida Heidebrecht of Blue Rapids, Mich., Mrs. Agnes Withrow of Gladstone, Ore., and Mrs. Magdalena Peaney of Newton; two sisters, Mrs. B. H. Thiessen of Hydro, Okla. and Mrs. Mary Friesen of Hutchinson; 16 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
