| + | • A truck-car accident on K15 one and a half miles north of Hillsboro on Monday took the life of Mrs. Gladys Wiebe, 30, of route 1, Durham. According to reports, the driver of the truck as Delmer Kaufman, 43, also of Durham, who escaped with bruises and lacerations. He was taken to the Hillsboro hospital but his injuries did not appear to be serious. The collision was head-on, with both vehicles badly damaged. Funeral services for Mrs. Wiebe were to be held Thursday at the Roxbury Morning Star Church of God in Christ Mennonite, where she was a member. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth L. Wiebe, a daughter, Teresa Kay; her parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Frank Jantz, La Junta, Colo.; six brother and two sisters. |
