&#8212; Funeral services for Mrs. Eliese Wiebe, 79, of rural Whitewater were held Saturday afternoon at the Emmaus Mennonite Church, conducted by Rev. L. R. Amstutz. Mrs. Wiebe died Tuesday, July 13, at Mercy Hospital in Moundridge. She was born Aug. 16, 1891, in rural Newton and on June 4, 1916, married H. J. Wiebe of the Whitewater community. He died last December. Members of the immediate family surviving are three sons, Albert J., San Francisco, Calif., Wilbert H., rural Whitewater, and Rev. Leonard Wiebe of Ft. Wayne, Ind., a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Gertrude) Roten, Elkhart, Ind., two sisters, Mrs. Marie Regier and Mrs. Helen Friesen, Newton; a brother, Gus Regier, Marthasville, Mo., and eight grandchildren.
