&bull; Funeral services were held at the Alexanderwohl Church last Friday afternoon for Dietrich Wiebe, 80, retired farmer of the Goessel community. Rev. Aaron J. Epp officiated. A resident of Shiloh Manor at Canton since 1967, Mr. Wiebe died May 6 at Bethesda Hospital in Goessel. He was a native of Inman, and was married to Mary Voth of Canton in 1912. They farmed in the Canton, Peabody and Goessel communities, moving to Goessel in 1955. Mrs. Wiebe died in 1965. Surviving are sons Elmer of Colorado Springs, Eldon [''sic'' Eldo] of Rockville, Md., Harry of Newton and Levern of Canon City, Colo.; two daughters, Mrs. Vernon Petersen of Goessel and Mrs. Ted Still of Ventura, Calif.; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; two half-brothers and one half sister.
