Gasoline Kills Child
Bergthal Colony, Paraguay. — David Wiebe, 17-month-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Wiebe of Village 6, died from gasoline poisoning on Thursday evening, Nov. 9. While Mrs. Wiebe was feeding the baby, David picked up a can containing gasoline and drank from it. Although Mrs. Wiebe administered artificial respiration, David died in 10 minutes.
