Minister of Lancaster County Church Dies

Ephrata, Pa. — Rev. Paul S. Wenger, 59, minister of the Metzler Mennonite Church on Route 2, Ephrata, for the past 15 years, died at the local hospital on Dec. 18. He had been ill for one month.

Besides his ministerial duties, Rev. Metzler [sic Wenger] was employed as a brick-layer by Charles W. Weaver. The family had resided at Akron for the past 12 years.

Funeral services were conducted Dec. 21 at the Metzler Church, with Eli Sauder and Amos H. Sauder officiating.

Surviving include his widow, the former Bertha Sensenig; two daughters and one son, James F., a student at Goshen College; and three grandchildren.
