• Mrs. Olivia Wenger, 87, wife of Ira J. Wenger of the Bethel Home for Aged, died Monday afternoon at the Home. A native of Wadsworth, Ohio, Mrs. Wenger came to Newton with her parents in 1898. She was married to Mr. Wenger here in 1917. Most of their married life was spent at Aberdeen, Idaho, and Mt. Lake, Minn., and they returned here in 1966 to enter Bethel Home. Surviving in addition to the widower are a son, Rev Malcolm Wenger of Newton, one daughter, Mrs. Orlando Schmidt of Elkhart, Ind., seven grandchildren, and a brother, Atlee Koppes of Newton. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Sister Frieda Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Isaak officiating.
