Resident of Kalona, Ia. Home Dies at Age 95

Wayland, Iowa. — Mrs. Emma Beckler Wenger, formerly of Wayland and a resident of the Pleasantview Home at Kalona since 1958, died at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City Aug. 30 at the age of 95.

Mrs. Wenger was a charter member of the Wayland Mennonite Church where the funeral services were conducted Sept. 1 by Rev. Walter Neufeld.

A native of this area, she was married to Samuel Wenger in 1892, and he died in 1937.

Survivors include one son, Ezra Wenger of Chicago, four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
