WILLIAM WENGER

William Wenger, age 59, was born at the farm home on Route 3, Silverton, Oregon Aug 15, 1895. He was the son of Robert and Paulina Wenger, who with two older sisters, Mrs. Clara Welty and Mrs. Nora Flynn, preceded him in death.

He accepted the Lord in his youth and was united with the Emmanuel Mennonite church at Pratum, Ore. He remained faithful till the Lord called him home May 23, 1955. He was also a member of the Berean Sunday School Class of his church. His occupation was farming for he loved the soil and was always busy.

He leaves the following survivors: two sisters, Mrs. Anna Wenger at home and Mrs. Elizabeth Muller of Salem; four brothers, Robert, Edward, and Eldon, also at home, and Oscar of Pratum, Ore.; also several nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at the Ekman funeral home in Silverton at 2:00 p.m. May 25, 1955, with Rev. Frank S. Harder officiating. Rev. J. M. Franz assisted. His final resting place is the Pratum cemetery.
