PIONEER OHIO RESIDENT IS KILLED IN STREET ACCIDENT AR ROSEWILL [sic ROSWELL], N. M.
Pandora, Ohio, Jan. 30. — William F. Welty, of Roswell, New Mexico, relative of many people in this vicinity, was killed in crossing a street some time Monday, according to a communication received here this week.
No details were received concerning the mishap or the funeral arrangements. Mr. Welty lived here many years ago and was a rancher near Roswell, New Mexico, one of the state's largest cities.
Mr. Welty was over eighty-one years old and was the eldest of eleven living brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Gaylord Welty, formerly of Illinois, and a son Lester, of Clinton, Iowa. One son died in infancy.
Three sisters survive: Mrs. Barbara Steiner, of this place, Mrs. C. J. Basinger and Mrs. Sarah Lehman, of Mountain Lake, Minnesota; seven brothers: Andre, of Apple Creek Ohio; Adam of Lima, Benjamin, of Lima; Albert, of Buenes Aires, Argentina, South America, and Moline, Illinois; Jacob, of Minneapolis, Minn.; Noah, of Reno, Nevada; and Dr. E. M., of Spokane, Wash. Albert Welty is a representative of the McCormick-Deering Implement Company. — Pandora times.
