Widow of Indiana Minister Dies

Wakarusa, Ind. — Funeral services were conducted at the Olive Mennonite Church near here on Sunday, Feb. 24, for Mrs. Elnora Metzler Weldy, 83, widow of the late Rev. Silas Weldy and a lifetime resident of this community.

Mrs. Weldy died Feb. 22 at the home of her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Maynard Weldy of Wakarusa. Her husband served as pastor of the Holdeman Mennonite Church near here for 40 years. He died in 1955.

Survivors include the daughter-in-law, three grandchildren, two sisters and three brothers.
