• Funeral services for Hilke [sic Hilkie] P. Wedel, 76, retired park superintendent for the city of Moundridge, were held Friday afternoon at the Emmanuel Mennonite Church with Rev. C. B. Friesen officiating. Mr. Wedel died Oct. 29 after an extended illness. He leaves his widow the former Lena Wedel; two sons, Clayton of San Pedro, Calif. and Milford of Moundridge; three brothers and six sisters.
