&bull; Funeral services for Ervin C. Wedel, 63, retired farmer and maintenance man of Halstead, were held Monday afternoon at the Grace Mennonite Church west of Halstead. Rev. Kenneth Smith and Rev. Dean Becker officiated. Mr. Wedel died Jan. 26 at the Halstead Hospital. He leaves his widow, the former Gertrude Wiggers; four sons, Everett of Inman, LaVern of Moundridge, Verlin of Dodge City, and Norman of Halstead; one daughter, Mrs. Allen Unruh of Halstead; nine grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Sam Unruh of Galva, Mrs. Floyd Jantz and Mrs. Irvin Jantz, both of Canton, Mrs. Leo Buller, and Mrs. Leroy Koehn, both of Moundridge; and three brothers, Allen, LaVern and Walter, all of Moundridge.
