WILLIAM McKINLEY WEAVER

William McKinley Weaver, son of the late Samuel A. and Annie J. (Shover) Weaver, was born at Mifflin, Pa. (Juniata County) on June 28, 1897. He died at his home in Salamanca, N. Y. on Nov. 14, 1970, after a lengthy illness, aged 73 years, four months and 17 days.

He was first married to Clara Kauffman of Amelia, C. H. in March 1917, and she died the same year. He then married Lena Kaufman of Ayr, Neb. on March 23, 1921 at Albany, Oregon, who survives.

Also surviving are four daughters, Margaret, Mrs. Edw. Randolph, Geraldine, Mrs. Paul Rust, Elaine, Mrs. Earl Rosenburger, and Shirley, Mrs. Wm Marble; three sons, Wm. H., Louis A. and Lowell E.; 29 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and one brother, Theodore R. Weaver. The oldest daughter, Marie, died in 1944, and an infant granddaughter in 1965.

He was an active layman who taught men's Bible class for many years until his health failed.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. James Turek. Burial was made in Wildwood Cemetery.
