Accident Injuries Fatal to Young Man

Reedley, Calif. — Funeral services were held April 30 at the Reedley Mennonite Brethren Church for Gaylen Weaver, 24, who died of injuries suffered in an auto accident seven months earlier.

The accident occurred in Dinuba when Mr. Weaver's car went out of control, throwing him out and inflicting head injuries. He was unconscious when picked up, and remained in a coma until his death.

Survivors include his widow, Carol (Friesen) Weaver, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Friesen of Reedley, his parants [sic], and one sister.
