Ohio Couple Among Victims of Bus Crash in South Carolina

Sugarcreek, Ohio. — Word was received here that Melvin J. Weaver, 59, and his wife Esther, 62, Amish couple of rural Fredericksburg, O., were among six persons killed when a Continental Trailways bus crashed into the rear of a truck near Columbus, S. C. on Feb. 1

The couple, en route to Sarasota, Fla. for a visit, leave four sons and a daughter, of whom two sons are still at home.

The heavily loaded tractor trailer had stopped after hitting a car.
