14-MONTH-OLD CHILD LOSES LIFE UNDER WHEELS OF TRUCK
Wakarusa, Ind. — Funeral services were held at the yellow Creek Mennonite church on Aug. 21 for Weldon Weaver, 14-month-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Weaver who was instantly killed when run over by a milk truck at the Weaver farm home northeast of Wakarusa, Rev. David Yoder and Rev. Ray Yoder were in charge of the services.
The child, who had only recently learned to walk, was struck down by the milk truck as it backed into the driveway. the driver was unaware that the child was playing there.
Survivors include the parents, two brother and two sisters, and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Mahlon Waver and Samuel Hoover.
