Mahlon Weaver, 73, died on Sept. 10 in Elkhart General Hospital where he was a patient four days. He had been ill seven months. Mr. Weaver married Della Loucks on Oct. 6, 1923. He was a member of the Mt. Joy Conservative Mennonite Church near Goshen and was a counselor for many years at Faith Mission in Elkhart. The survivors include the widow, a daughter, ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two brothers and a sister. Funeral services were held at the Olive Mennonite Church with Paul Hershberger, Calvin Bontrager, Glen Shrock, and Willard Conrad officiating.
