Rev. J. M. R. Weaver

Newton, Kansas, June 12. — The Rev. J. M. R. Weaver died last evening at 10:50 at his home at 603 Grandview following an illness of bronchial pneumonia and complications.

The funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 at the house and at the Pennsylvania Mennonite church at 2:30, the Reverends D. H. Bender, D. D. Zook and Earl Buckwalter officiating. The pall bearers will be Earl, Edwin and Joseph Weaver, Frank Neuhauser and Paul and Roy Miller. Burial will be in Zimmerdale cemetery.

Mr. Weaver was a son of David M. and Anna (Musser) Weaver and was born October 29, 1959 at New Holland, Pa., making him 70 years, 7 months and 12 days at the time of his death.

He was a retired farmer. He came to Harvey county in 1880 and moved to the city of Newton three years ago.

Mr. Weaver was married in Clay, Pa., on Nov. 4, 1880 to Anna B. Miller and to this union five children were born three of whom survive. They are Newton M. Weaver of Lancaster, Pa., Matin M. Weaver, of Goddard, Kan., and Mrs. A. D. Neuhauser of Newton. A daughter, Mrs. S. E. Neuhauser, died on March 19, 1928 and a son Titus, died in infancy.

Brothers ans sisters surviving are: Christina Byrd, Red Bluff, Calif., David M. Weaver, address unknown, M. B. Weaver of Lake Charles, La., T. M. Weaver, of Harper, Kan., and Mrs. B. E. Miller of this city. — Kansan.
