Young Man Killed In Two-Car Collision Near McPherson, Kan.

Moundridge, Kan. — A two-car collision on Highway 56 west of McPherson early Monday morning took the life of Robert Lee Waltner, 22, son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto J. Waltner of Moundridge.

Young Waltner was traveling alone on Highway 56 west of McPherson when a car occupied by two McPherson women went out of control and slide sideways into his car.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday forenoon at the Eden Mennonite Church by Rev. Raymond Curry and Rev. Peter Goering.
