• Funeral services for Joe N. Waltner, 84, retired farmer of the Pretty Prairie community, were held July 6 at th First Mennonite Church there with Rev. Ben Rahn officiating. Mr. Waltner died at the Kingman Memorial Hospital on July 3. He had lived in the Pretty Prairie area since the age of 15 and had been a member of the church there for 71 years.
