Gerhard John Wall of Coaldale, Alta., died of cancer in the Coaldale hospital on Dec. 8. Born in Crimea, Russia, May 9, 1893, Mr. Wall accepted Christ in 1927 and was baptized the same year. He married Maria Penner on Oct. 8, 1918. They had five children. His wife predeceased him on June 6, 1954. In 1955 he married Elizabeth Dick, Coaldale. He farmed in the Coaldale district from 1932 to 1955.
He is survived by his wife, 2 sons, 3 daughters and ten grandchildren. Funeral services were held in the Coaldale church on Dec. 11.
