Retired Farmer, Church Worker of Mt. Lake Dies

Mt. Lake, Minn. — Aaron N. Wall, 81, well-known retired farmer and lay worker in the EMB Church, died at the University Hospital, Minneapolis, on Aug. 29. Death was due to cancer.

A native of this community, Mr. Wall attended local schools and Goshen College (Indiana.) After his marriage to Mary Dick in 1909, he taught in rural schools for two years and in the EMB church school for two years.

In 1919 the Walls took up a homestead at Chinook, Mont., returning to this community in 1925 where they continued to farm until 1943. Mr. Wall was active in the local EMB Church and for a number of years served as conference mission treasurer. He began teaching Sunday school at the age of 17 and continued until his death.

Surviving are the widow; four sons and two daughters and their families; one brother, Rev. John N. Wall of Dallas, Ore.; and four sisters.
