MARY WALL

(Mrs.) Mary Wall was born on January 8, 1918, in the Ukraine, in southern Russia. In 1924, when she was six years old, the family emigrated to Canada and settled in La Salle, Man. At the age of 17 she made her peace with God and was baptized and received into the local Mennonite Brethren congregation.

On July 24, 1938, she was united in holy matrimony to Benjamin Wall. Their marriage was blessed with five healthy children.

In 1953 they left the farm and moved to the city of Winnipeg, where they joined the Elmwood Church. Mrs. Wall enjoyed the fellowship in a ladies group (the Williger Helfer Verein), and derived much pleasure from singing in the church choir. She had many friends, however, from various walks of life.

In February of this year, she became bedridden. In spite of her condition, she showed a great deal of courage. and trusted in God's promises. She resigned herself to the will of her Creator even though she had a strong desire to stay with her family.

On July 13, her Creator called her to her eternal home. But her example of faithfulness, hope, and devotion in happy and unhappy circumstances remain with those she leaves to mourn: her husband, Benjamin; five children, Marlene and her husband Ronald Horch, Eddy and his wife Pat, John and his wife Lynne, Jimmy, and Edith; five grandchildren; two sisters; six brothers; and her mother, Mrs. Abram Enns.

The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to all who shared their sorrow and extended so much help and comfort. The many donations for Gideon Bibles and to the Cancer Society are gratefully acknowledged.
