&bull; Paul J. Voran, 65, who had served as postmaster at Pretty Prairie since 1935, died unexpectedly Feb. 8 after suffering a heart attack. He was a member of the First Mennonite Church of Pretty Prairie, where the funeral was conducted Saturday afternoon by the pastor, Rev. Ben Rahn. Survivors include his widow, the former Hulda Graber; daughters Mrs. Norma Jean Preheim of Freeman, S. D. and Mrs. Florine Eitzen of Lawrence; a son, Myron, of Pretty Prairie; one brother, Carl, of Pretty Prairie; and 10 grandchildren.
