— Funeral services were held last Friday afternoon at the Bethel College Mennonite church for Miss Elizabeth Voran, who for many years was an efficient employee of the Railroad Building, Loan and Savings Association here. She passed away at the Bethel Deaconess hospital on Tuesday, Nov. 3, after an extended illness. For many years she had made her home with Mrs. J. J. Schmidt and daughter Selma on East Ninth street. There was a large attendance of friends from here and other communities at the funeral services, which were conducted by Dr. E. G. Kaufman and Rev. Lester Hostetler. Interment was made in Greenwood cemetery. Miss Voran is survived by the following brothers and sisters: John A. of Pretty Prairie; C. D. of Augusta; Mrs. H. W. Voran and Mrs. J. J. Voran of Kingman and Mrs. H. D. Kopper of Hutchinson.
