— Mrs. Cora (C. A.) Vogt, 84, died Aug. 8 at Schowalter Villa in Hesston after a long illness. The funeral was conducted Wednesday forenoon at the Hesston Mennonite Church with Rev. Peter Wiebe, the pastor, in charge. Mrs. Vogt, the former Cora Wenger, was born at Canton and had lived in the Hesston community since 1911. She married C. A. Vogt at Upland, Calif. in 1929, and he died in 1951. Survivors include four stepsons, Paul, Willard and Ralph Vogt, all of Hesston, and Harvey Vogt of Halstead; two step-daughters, Mrs. Roy Roth of Dayton, Oregon and Mrs. Reuben Ewy of Hesston; four sisters, Mrs. Abe Good of Nampa, Idaho, Mrs. Nora Hershey of Gulfport, Miss., Mrs. E. S. Garber of Lebanon, Ore., and Mrs. John Detwiler of Hesston; 25 grandchildren and 62 great-grandchildren.
