● Mrs. Ralph (Hazel) Vogt, 53, of Hesston died Friday, Oct. 22, at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City where she had been receiving treatments for cancer for the past several weeks. The former Hazel Berner, she married Mr. Vogt in 1937 and they lived on a farm near Hesston until 1959 when they moved to Hesston. In addition to her husband she leaves two sons, Larry R. of Ellinwood and Roger L. of Fort Collins, Colo.; her father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Berner of Kansas City; a brother, Earl Berner of Greeley, Colo.; three sisters, Mrs. R. K. Yoder of Fort Collins, Mrs. Klon Matthews of St. John, and Mrs. R. M. Davis of Lyons; and five grandchildren. Mrs. Vogt was a member of the Hesston Mennonite Church, where the funeral was conducted on Monday forenoon by Rev. Peter Wiebe.
