Six-Year-Old Galva Boy Dies in Accident
Galva, Kan. — Funeral services were held at the Lone Tree Mennonite Church on Monday forenoon for six-year-old Lynn David Unruh, son of Mr. and Mrs. Verlin V. Unruh who was killed in a car-truck crash southeast of here Thursday evening.
A car driven by the boy's mother and a pickup truck driven by Jonas Koehn, 65, of Galva collided at a road intersection. Mrs. Unruh and Mr. Koehn were both hospitalized at McPherson with head lacerations, while three-year-old Debra Unruh suffered a skull fracture and was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.
