Prominent Farmer at Harper Fatally Hurt

Harper, Kan. — Funeral services for J. Lee Unruh, 59, prominent farmer and community leader here who suffered fatal injuries in a recent auto accident, were conducted Sunday afternoon at the Pleasant Valley Mennonite Church.

He was injured in a two-car collision northeast of Harper on Sept. 14, and died Sept. 20 in a Wichita hospital.

Survivors include his widow, the former Lois Metzler, four sons and one grandchild.
