Death Claims Retired Minister in Illinois
Metamora, Ill. — Rev. David M. Ulrich, 85, a retired minister of the Mt. Herman Amish Mennonite Church at Shelbyville, died June 18 at his home in Washburn.
Born at Washington, Ill. in 1881, he was a lifetime resident of this area. Funeral services were held June 23 at the Linn Township A. M. Church.
Surviving are his widow, the former Lena Eigsti, three daughters and four sons and their families.

DAVID M. ULRICH
David M. Ulrich, 85, of Washburn, Ill. died on Sunday, June 19, at his home.
He was born March 3, 1881, in Washington, Ill., a son of Peter and Magdalena King Ulrich. he married Lena Eigsti In Shelbyville, Ill. May 3, 1911, and she survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters, Mrs. Jocie (Josephine) Unzicker of Washburn, Mrs. Pearl May Schrock of Freeport, Ill., and Mrs. Ada Loretta Nofsinger of Washington; four sons, Lester, Chris and Edward, all of Washburn, and Arthur of Harrisburg, Ore.; 30 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. One daughter, one son, seven sisters and four brothers preceded him in death.
A resident of Cazenovia for 20 years, he was also a retired minister of the Mt. Herman Amish Church of Shelbyville.
Funeral services were held June 23 at the Mason Funeral Home, Metamora, at 9:15 a.m. and at 10 a.m. at Linn Township Amish Mennnonite Church, Rev. John Hostetler and Rev. Christy Christmas officiating. Burial was in Roanoke Mennonite Cemetery.
